Amity Hall Inn, River Rd, Duncannon PA. Closed in 1980's, major arson fire in 2009, demolished in 2021.
Hi Don,
Do you know why the Inn closed in the 1980's? Do you know if there's any plans for the property now that the building is gone?
All the articles I have read do not indicate why it closed, nor the plans for the property in the future.
My guess is that was when they realigned the highway and business dropped off. Again, mu guess.
