That's my Grandpa and Nan Fresh's farm. I spent many, many summers with my brother there. We came to the farm every summer. My Mom raised us by herself and couldn't afford a babysitter all summer. Picked strawberries, helped in garden went fishing. Pap let us ride the horses in when it was lunch time. Very thankful for them and always had a good time..

I remember going and Nancy would bake chocolate chip cookies and how happy I was when they got indoor plumbing I was afraid of the out house...lol

This was my Aunt Georgie's farm. Her husband Howard died before I could really remember him. Her son Howard, we called him Jr., did the majority of the farming. I too was afraid of the outhouse. It sounded like the cows were going to come up through the hole when they were mooing behind the outhouse. I have so many good memories when visiting here. Aunt Georgie loved cats. I got my love for cats from her, as well as my first cat. From what I can see in this photo, the house was still without the new part, which included an indoor bathroom. Aunt Georgie's name before getting married was Georgia Wilhelm.
