This is my parent's farm in Hopewell Township (Ridge Road), Washington County (Avella Area School District). They purchased the farm in 1963 and the addition to the home was added the year this picture was taken, adding a bedroom, bathroom, new kitchen and dining room to the original home dating back to the 1800s. The horse, Pam, seen in above the house, we borrowed from another township farm family to test the sincerity of my desire to care for a horse of my own. I failed miserably! There are so many memories in this picture.
