This was Franklin Square. At the time, the boulevard was known as first avenue northeast. It was later named Dinah Shore Blvd. Big K became Wal-Mart 735 in 1981.
Wal-Mart moved to Decherd Blvd. In January 1996 and opened as a Wal-Mart Supercenter.
