My childhood home

Hello Jami,
How long did you live here? Do you have any memories you would like to share from your time here?

Hi, Nathan yes I have plenty I can share. As a little girl we use to push the cattle up the road from my grandparents farm on 730 south. We would walk 730 back and forward from their farm. Never worrying about the traffic. Another great memory of this place is the fact it was a small community. There are many old fountains still on the place. The fence to the north has the stones from where Pope Rd use to go straight across. The property has several old wells and one hand pump well behind the house. The house still has the old cloth wallpaper. Sadly, all this will be lost when they widen 730 for growth.

My parents brought me home from the hospital in 76 where we lived until they divorced in the 90's. Dad stayed in the house but for the most part we moved in with my grandparents down the hill. My dad still owns the property though no one lives there. The house has given away to time.

Hello Jami,
Thank you for sharing. This is precisely the type of information we want to preserve with these photos.
