My parents moved from Carmine's Island (Wicomico) to this house in 1964 when I was 6 years old. I lived there until I married in May, 1978. My father passed away in June of 1983, and my husband, my 2 yr old son and I moved back in 1984. The trailer in the picture belonged to my uncle and grandmother, and my mother bought a new one for herself and replaced the old one. We lived there for 9 years before building a home in Ladysmeade subdivision near the high school.
