a friend of mine just bought this Farm. This is "New Upton Farm"... Also known as "Harcum plantation house" built in the 1820s. The field in front of the house was also an airplane landing strip from the 1930's-50's. This Farm was abandoned for close to 30 years. The new owners have bought it and are now working to restore it to its former glory. Very beautiful house inside and out with Federal-style trim. What they called a "plantation plain" or "southern federal" design.
