This is the old stagecoach inn/tavern at present day Mauzy, an area formerly known as Sparta. The inn/tavern was built around the turn of the 19th century and was operated by a man named Hays in the early 1800s. This grand old place has had varying owners and served varying purposes in it's lifetime. My family's corporation, Dove Farms, Inc., owned it for part of the 20th century and my aunt and uncle lived there for a time.
