My grandparents’ house at the time. Many memories here. Coming from Oklahoma, we moved in with them in 1990 until we found our own place to rent. My cousins and I would play chicken in complete darkness in the downstairs hallway where there are no lights. As I grew up, I would mow their yard for $25/mow. My grandfather got alzheimer’s and they moved into the duplexes on Susan Ave. My grandmother lived there until she, too, got alzheimer’s. Needless to say, this picture represents the happier days from my youth.
