I live in this house, have for almost 43 years. It was built in the mid 1860s by A Shinn, whose family founded Shinnston, WV.

My husband died, it was a lot to care for so I sold it in 2019. I miss my bungalo up the holler.

We boughtbthe housecin 1978, paid very little for it. We had an outhouse. It got lots better. We brought our new baby home to that house. He grew up there.
