Norman and Maggie Thompson Farm

Oh my goodness! I was born there and grew up there. The smoke house behind the house where we had meat salted and hanging is gone and where my brother, Clyde and his wife lived in that smoke house and their daughter born there. I see the grape vine arbor in the back yard in picture and we made tons of jelly from that. The metal roof on house is long gone and I can still hear the rain as I fell asleep many nights there. The plant with the left of X on it is my Mom's peoney plant and it is still there. The rich fertile soil still grows gardens for the new owners, Oscar and nephew George! Tony, thank you so much for sharing this!
