I currently live here! (Our 3rd of many years ahead) :) We are the 4th family to own the property. The barn collapsed in the early 2000s and the big machine shed in the middle is no longer standing. There have been some additions to the home. The chicken coop, long shed and cream city brick building still stand. The Smith family was the original owners dating back to 1830s and resided here until the 1980s.

Hi Kaley,
It's always fascinating to learn about the history of these places. Do you have any childhood memories of playing in the chicken coop or exploring the long shed? Were there any specific events or traditions that took place in the cream city brick building?

Hi! We have been here for 3 years, but I’m sure our little one will have lots of adventures when he’s old enough. The brick building was said to have been a post office and a general store back in the day, even being used for church and school when needed. It was an antique shop in the 90s. We plan to make it a guest house and a photo studio some day!
