The Livingstons originally owned this parcel. We found letters written by family members in the house and a board dated Nov 15 1889 John E Livingston with woman's names written below his. We have been told that it was a turkey farm at one time.
We bought this place in 1989. The large barn with silo was already gone and buried. Since than all the out buildings have fallen down except for the small one with the door open on the bottom. We have been restoring that one. The warming hut at the end of the driveway was blown over in a bad storm about 2 years after we bought the place. We removed the mudroom off the north side of the house and have completely redone the house. The small pine trees in the background were harvested in 2015 and new trees have been planted.
