I lived in this house in 1960 when I was 11. We moved there from Milwaukee - my parents rented half of the house and the other half was occupied by a young couple, but I don't know if they were the owners or if they were renting also. This farm is on the corner of I-94 and Farmington Lane, which was called Farmington Road back then because it was not a dead-end as it is now - it crossed I-94 and led into the tiny town of Farmington. My brother and I walked north on Farmington Road and around the corner on County Trunk MM (now called Ranch Road) to Maple View School, a one-room schoolhouse.
