We had our wedding dance there as well as most if my family. My dad tended bar on Saturdays for weddings for approximately 40 years. Did a lot of dancing in that ballroom!!!

When it comes to memories of Colonial I don't know where to begin. I grew up in the Town of Wausau (not to be confused with City of Wausau) and as the crow flies only about 3 miles from Colonial. I cannot begin to remember all of the many wedding receptions, dinners and dances I enjoyed in that place. My brothers wedding was there as well as my daughter's so, while I no longer live in the Wausau area, I do get there occasionally and it saddens me each time I drive Highway N to see that Colonial is no longer there. I did many Flying-Dutchman dances there. Oh the fun we had there.
