I was born and raised on this farm. The two wood stave silos were taken down hen my dad sold the cows. My brother built the chicken house on the right from salvaged materials from barns that were going to be destroyed to make way for irrigation pivot systems. After my brother passed away we sold the farm to the neighbor, who now sells used cars and trucks in the area of our garden. Many apple trees, rhubarb, strawberries, currants, asparagus as well as annual vegetables were what me and my brother and 3 sisters grew up on. Many happy memories of climbing the big rocks in the woods and ridge where the Gurnsey cows pastured. the land was too rocky and hilly to be under cultivation.
