This was my grandma & grandpa's house. The road in front was the old Hwy. 10, and to the right is Johnson's Towing. We lived in the trailer house towards the back of the picture, and the Portage County Fairgrounds was right across the street. To the left of their house, across the road, is now where the Amherst Veterinary Clinic is now located.

I have learned so many valuable life lessons here. One photo has so many memories.

Wow! THAT brings back memories! I wonder if we were weeding the garden...in 1979 the road to the east was still open, hwy 10 was so small, and there was no pool behind the trailer.

You can still see the trail to Grandma and Grandpa's house from our trailer. Have wonderful pictures in my head of all the grandchildren running back and forth between the houses.
