I watched kittens, puppies & calves being born on my Uncle Gordon & Aunt Margie Ainsworth's farm every summer. I spent a few weeks with my cousins, Barbie, Debbie, Connie, Sandy, Terry & Deedee. What a wonderful place! I remember it before the large white building behind the amazing playhouse nest to the house. There used to be a corn crib there. All the cows had names & it amazed me that each one knew their own stall & would enter it on their own, twice a day to be milked. We build huge hay bail forts & jumped from high hay bail stacks into piles of hay & straw. We ate apples from the orchard until we were sick to our stomachs. What wonderful memories! Yvonne "Sam" Sandmire, formerly of Green Bay, now Boise, Idaho.
