My Grandparents used to have a General Store at this location. It was called Bengtson's Summit Store. It was taken out by a tornado in the late 50's. The same tornado that took out Colfax. I believe the house in the background (to the left) is part of the original house that was there next to the store that was demolished by the tornado. I do not know who owned the property or this house at the time this photo was taken.
