Austin Tracy Elementary School on highway 87 in Austin Kentucky. This was my school from 1st through 8th grade. Quite a bit of it has changed as well. The original structure is still there, it's just been added to. Look at our little dirt playground out behind the school!

Worked for Mr. (coach) Flanders 1987-99. Assistant to Mrs. Judy Burgess in the office. LOVED working their.

I went to school there grades 1-12. Graduated 1973, that was the last year as a high school.

I also went to school there for all twelve grades. Graduated with Bill Hurt in 1973.

I started at the high school in 4th grade when the high school was enlarged to include Elementary students when the Elementary schools were scattered across the community consolidated. I graduated in 1965 and I cherish all memories and forever friends that I made there. Our class was very close and in many ways like family. We all have remained close and have a wonderful time when we have our class reunions. Sorry to say we have lost several class members but we always remember them when we get together. Growing up in the rural community on a farm as all my classmates, I feel we learned to be responsible, kind, caring and always doing your best. These characteristics have made us better adults and so glad I grew up in this era. Love Austin Tracy High School.
