The heart of downtown Sycamore PA. The post office is on the right side of the frame on the opposite side of the road. The tracks of the Waynesburg & Washington Railroad ran diagonally across the pic, lower left to upper right, behind the large house to the left. Jacob Weaver was the station master at Sycamore, merchant and long-time postmaster from 1913 to 1930. He died in 1945. I never knew Jake but I do remember Mrs.Weaver (Anna) who continued to run their store in Sycamore well into the 50s.
