Park with playground across SD-50 had a spiral slide which is visible in the photo.

My parents and aunts and uncles skated here. My dad Albert Pies and many of his brother and sisters went here. My dad and his family lived in Richland. My dad Albert met my mom Margie Doane there and married in 1958. My dad also worked for Walt Hummel and we (my younger brother) walked beans in the late 60’s early 70’s and we got to use the roller rink a few times after walking beans. We had the place to ourselves and played the juke box for free! The good ole days.
