Are your photos in black and white or color?

The vast majority of our photos are scanned in from black and white film. We have some color photos from after 1998, but they make up a small percentage of our collection. In other words, the way our photos appear on our website is exactly how they were photographed.

Many of the framed aerial photos from the past that appear to be color photographs were actually colorized with Marshall Photo Oils, which are transparent oil colors specifically designed for tinting black-and-white photographs by hand.
