Rainbow Gardens dance hall, on Route 20 east of Belvidere, built in 1924, closed in 1958 and torn down between 1966 and 1975.
My name is Joan Fryberger, maiden name was Blodgett. My grandfather, George Luxton, owned the Rainbow Gardens until approximately 1950. I spent time there when I was small during the World War II.
