this the way my dad bought the farm and the way i remember it . Although a few years later we lost the garage in the back to a twister ,and the corn crib in front fell over towards the crick. Dad also planted the maple tree near the kitchen when we moved there. Oh yeah i could'nt forget the old out house we didnt have a bathroom when we first moved there in 75'.
Its amazing to see the cotton woods were very young trees and the spot my dog is still buried.

Bro, this is awesome! So much has changed like the buildings, trees, crick, etc. I think or family moved I there in July 74 tho. Mom said I was in her belly yet and had to crawl through a window opening from the living room into the new addition they built (equipped with a bathroom)..lol. Yes, a great place to grow up & explore. Cool find!

Oh my, those were the days. But your both wrong about when we moved there. It was late March of 74. I & Grandpa Prodehl went right to work on strarting the garden.We had a huge garden that year, right in front of the house just as
you came accross the bridge to the right. I hope you can get a copy of this.
