Henry Dearborn Jr. Farm ... Houlton Road, Bridgewater, Maine
This is the Slipp farm. Dearborn married a Slipp and acquired it. The main home (square front) built in 1894. Huge tree in front gone. Barns fell in and gone, some tore down. Potato house in entrance torn down. They burnt all their trash in there. There was no environmental concerns back then. Clothes, etc. Whatever was no longer of use - it would burn and stink up the neighborhood. The school house that Amber Slipp taught in for this side of town was on the main road just above this tree line, so you can't see it.
