51 Marston Rd, Gardiner, ME

My Mother’s family (Firlottes) lived here when she was younger and before they built the house on the corner of Rt 201 and the Marston Rd. There were farm animals and gardens to feed the 7 kids. As I understand it, my grandfather worked to keep up the Gardiner Mansion in exchange for rent. There was a path through the woods the kids took that lead them to Mount Tom to go sledding.

I remember the Firlottes that lived on the corner. Sheila and her Mom lived across the road in a mobile home after her father passed away.
