This was the Jackson's home. Mrs. Irene Jackson was well into her 90s before she moved into a retirement home within the last couple of years. She faithfully mowed the "lawn" every week on a riding lawn mower---and by the term lawn, I mean the hayfield in the back! Another property on Rte 201 S, Skowhegan, about a mile north of the papermill. The garage roof of Mr. Charles "Doug" Atwood's home is seen on the right of the picture.
This was, until recently, the home of the Jacksons. Mrs. Irene Jackson lived here well into her 90s. That big field in the back (diretly behind the house all the way to the left of the picture), was her "lawn" and she mowed that thing every week on her riding lawn mower. The structure on the right is the garage roof to Mr. Charles "Doug" Atwood's home. He is a retired Maine State Trooper.
