Washington Grammar school, Rt 220, Thorndike. Has been replaced by a new town office. This photo shows a small sand pit on the back side of the lower grades play ground where I played as a child.

I went to school here, graduated in 1952. It was a two-room school, my teacher was Herbert Ryan from Brooks.
