Duane and Evelyn Reid owned this store / gas station which they opened in the 1940's and closed around 1971. We met the Reids in 1981 and purchased the property that bordered their property to the east and south. We purchased this property in 2007 and have since re-opened the store which is now named Jonesy's Corner Store. Both Duane and Evelyn have passed from this earthly world. The raised approximately 30+ foster children in their small home and adopted 3 of the children. The property has been cleaned up immensely.
