This is the home of Mrs Powers. She had over 100 Poodles in the house and in the dog coops out back. When I was 8 years old I would walk over there to clean out the pens and make sure the dogs had plenty of water and food. My pay was 50 cents per day.

I remember washing stacks of dirty dishes she hired me to wash. I couldn't believe the mess. She paid me in a guppy fish tank, filled with guppies. They were pretty to look at under a black light. Mom didn't like it in the house so we kept it on the porch in warm weather.
