This is the Ephraim and Emma Woodworth Truesdell House that still sits on the west side of Haggerty Road just north of Palmer, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Construction of the home began in 1888 after Ephraim returned from the Civil War. Ephraim and Emma's son Charles purchased it in 1911 and it remained in the family for several decades, often serving as Canton's funeral parlor due to the large double front doors that allowed for easy passage of caskets and pallbearers.

The barn, silos, and other outbuildings are all gone, with the exception of the large garage at center. The home was sold to a new family in 1992 and fully restored.

Also of note in the foreground is the Canton Commons apartment complex (now Meadowood Townhomes) which were built in 1975.
