This was Somerset Presbyterian Church at the intersection of Montgomery Road (US 22/3) and Fields Ertel (on the right running vertically is the original Fields Ertel Road after you took the dogleg left from it dead-ending at 22/3). This section of Fields Ertel is now called Connecticut Drive. Somerset church owned ALL of the land that the Meijer's store which now sits here has. The church itself was thankfully preserved and has been moved to Sharon Woods park of Hamilton County (it's no longer an active church, it's in the Heritage Village section of Sharon Woods). The church above sits approximately where the Meijer's gas station sits today. The church property was large and included a recreational basketball court outside as can be seen, in addition to football field goal posts on the lot visible in the background. To the left of the church heading north on 22/3 there was a little league baseball practice field and a "farm pond" before you got to the church manse. The Oxford dictionary defines manse as "the house occupied by a minister of a Presbyterian church". Our family went to church here for years and had great friendships with many families and kids who did also (most were from the Kings Mills school district, but some from Loveland as well).

This church was moved to Sharon Woods Heritage Village
