I don't recall the family name but this was the farm that sat on the west side of US 22/3 (Montgomery Road) at the intersection of 22/3 and the eastern dogleg portion of Fields Ertel Drive. In the pic you can see where Fields Ertel intersected with 22/3 here. This portion of Fields Ertel is now called Connecticut Drive and borders the Meijer property and 22/3. The barn across the street was preserved for many years and was used as a popular local restaurant called Toots. Sadly, the beautiful old barn was razed just 3-4 years ago and in its place now sits a bank building which is square and has zero architectural appeal and significance as this old barn had.
Miss Toots.
