What a shame they didn't capture the Al-Char public swimming pool right next door. I don't recall if it was still open in 1983 but certainly remember it fondly in the 1960s. It had a fairly unique "high dive" that was "out in the deep end of the pool". You had to swim out to it to then climb the ladder and jump or dive. Great Fun!
