The small building in this pic is the Bee Spring Pist Office as it was for YEARS. The building behind it was where the post master lived and her daughter. TobyAnn vanMeter, does till today. The building where the post off was is no longer there but many memories live on about that little building and the wonderful family connected to it.

This garage was originally owned by brothers, Randel and Elba Carroll. Later, Elba left the business and it was eventually passed down to the sons and grandsons of Randel. This business is still open today

This house is located on Hwy 259N and at the time of this pic was owned (and I think built) by Verena (French or Furguson I think) and her husband. She was the mother of Janell Patton, grandmother of Joe Don Patton, Sherry Patton Sanders and Jeff Patton.

This barn was part of the Glen Duvall farm that lay on both sides of Hwy 259 N in what is known as the Bee Spring Stretch. The house that Glen lived in was across Hwy 259 in front of this barn (not shown in this pic). The house seen in this pic was NOT part of Glen’s farm at the time this pic was made; however, I am pretty sure that it was part of his father’s farm and was owned by someone in his Duvall side of his family. (Duvall was pronounced DoV’all’ in Glen’s generation and before)

This house started as a one(1) room shed basically and was added on to over the years. It was first a home in 1942 not long after Moma was born in Louisville. It is located on what was previously the Freddie Sanders and Emma Carroll Sanders farm on now Sanders Road
