This photo shows the Monon Railroad tracks just south of the town of Quincy, which can be seen in the top center. That is the main crossroads leading into town, showing the Black Building, the Bryant Building on the left of the road, the Masonic lodge on the right.

I see a sign advertising a Bonanza Sirloin Pit apparently due to open.

This is Wallace Junction (or what's left of it). The trains stopped here and the trainmen stayed in the boarding house which was still standing here. There was also a restaurant. My great-grandfather and his three sons worked on the Monon and lived here.
