This is the Joseph Orr house at Orr's Island, ME. It was built in 1756 and is the oldest house on the island. In later years it was called the Kittridge House, then the Bond House. I lived in this house with my parents, brothers and sister in 1969 and 1970 while our home at Lowell's Cove was being renovated.

The photo is at Orr's Island, ME. The house at lower right is The Juanita Lodge, east side of Rt. 24, immediately south of the former Kenneth Judkins house at Judkins corner. Long Cove is in the background at top of photo. Mary Judkins used to let horses and she pastured them in the field and kids could ride them in the field for a very modest amount of money.
