Photo 21-SOA-14 from 1963

Comments

This beautiful art deco home sat directly across the street from the farm in the previous photo (#13) on the west side of Haggerty Road, midway between Grand River and M-5. By 1967, a large pole barn was added just south of the house on the property, with additional expansions over the next couple years. The outbuilding had a driveway from Haggerty and appears to have been a semi truck/trailer garage business. The house was demolished in 2001, and the outbuilding business stood until 2010. The entire area was razed and turned into an industrial park around 2012, including the creation of Regency Drive just south of where the house once stood which gives access to the park.

The former driveway to the outbuilding business is still visible today but has been repurposed/redirected as the entrance to the Metro 275 Bike Trail which runs north along the west side of Haggerty in this location.

Approximately 25155 Haggerty Rd, Novi, MI 48375
